Kelvin Yeboah's three-month start to his MLS career was nearly unbelievable. Again, as a summer signing he played very few games and is lower on the list as a result. In those games, though, the Italian DP striker signing just kept scoring goals. He arrived from Genoa after a solid loan stint in Belgium with Standard Liege.

It took Yeboah all of 24 minutes to introduce himself as a Loon. Allianz Field erupted as he converted the penalty and made it a brace with a wild chip half an hour later. An unbelievable run against St. Louis won Minnesota that game, along with a PK he scored later on. Yeboah struck in a road sweep of SKC, curling a shot to the back post and turning his back before the net bulged, as if he was Steph Curry.

Colorado felt the wrath of Yeboah's second MLS brace as he reached seven goals in his first six matches. The first of the goals will likely not be the intro of his highlight reel, but they count all the same. The quick fan-favorite froze Zach Steffen to extend his run of form.

Minnesota United rose to the challenge late in the season and claimed the sixth spot in the MLS Cup Playoffs. The Loons pushed past Real Salt Lake in two tight wins on spot kicks. The season came to an end when they gave up a whopping six goals to LA Galaxy, though the Yeboah highlights still kept coming.

There was a point in that match where it was still competitive, espeically when Yeboah scored a ridiculous screamer on the left foot. A PK later on cut the deficit back to one, but the flood gates simply opened afterwards. Yeboah has Golden Boot potential once the 2025 season kicks off in Februray. If he keeps up the pace he posted in practically a fourth of the season in 2024, Major League Soccer defenses could be in major danger. Yeboah is No. 72, only for a lack of time spent in the league.
