Braian Ojeda played a crucial role on one of the top teams in MLS. He played in and started nearly every match. His role in the defensive side of midfield anchored RSL and helped the team to an unreal start to the season. Things hit a rough patch in the summer, but it was still a campaign to remember and build upon for Ojeda's team. The Paraguayan played his second full season after arriving from Nottingham Forest and showed his quality. His ability and comfortability on the ball added a calming presence to RSL's side.

Ojeda added two goals and six assists to his great season in other areas. His goals were actually scored in a four-day span. In a midweek matchup, he scored a huge winner against Houston with pure class. On the weekend, he kicked off a barrage with a striker's finish. Ojeda picked up an assist with an absurd backheel flick against New England. Late in the season, he let Diego Luna do most of the work on another helper. In the following game, Ojeda set up Luna again with a perfect switch of play.

It was a successful season for one of the most consistent players in Real Salt Lake's squad. Ojeda excelled in carrying the ball into the attack, completing over a dribble and a half on average per game. His presence in the midfield also won possession constantly, as he won well over six duels per 90. Ojeda is always looking to spring the attack and loft balls to the wingers making runs down the flanks. He had a fantastic season for RSL and will continue to play an important role in one of the most commanding positions in the sport. Ojeda comes in at No. 65.
