Jordan Morris has been scoring goals for the Seattle Sounders for a long time and 2024 was no different. Besides the five-game stint he played on loan from Swansea City in which he tore his ACL, Morris has only represented the Rave Green. In 2024, Morris scored 14 MLS goals and 18 in all competitions. The season was arguably the best MLS campaign of his career. He has now reached the ripe age of 30 but has shown no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Morris was very much the main source of goal scoring for the fourth-place team in the Western Conference.

Morris began his tally with a signature charging run into the box and finish against CF Montreal. It was actually a slow start to the year, but he began to heat up in June. He scored a brace against FC Dallas with two goals at the death, including a dramatic 90'+4 winner created by his pace. In Leagues Cup, he terrorized Pumas UNAM with another brace. The Mexican team lost the CONCACAF Champions League Final to the Sounders in 2022, so they knew Morris well. In a September draw with San Jose, he put another two into the back of the net. The clutch gene showed with a 109th minute playoff winner against LAFC. The run ended at the hands of the eventual champions LA Galaxy.

Morris' 14 goals tied the most in a single season in his career. He hadn't scored in 11 games when he launched the match-winner past Hugo Lloris in the playoffs, which is just a testament to his constant danger. There's no doubt that Morris is as streaky of a player as there is, but he's among the best scorers in the league when he's on. Along with his scoring ability, his pure speed always impacts the game. He completed 65.6% of his dribbles, an absurdly high number for an attacker. He also won the majority of his overall and aerial duels. Morris comes in at No. 54.
