Miles Robinson spent his entire MLS career with Atlanta United prior to the 2024 season. He was linked to numerous moves to Europe and none of them ever materiaized. He opted to join FC Cincinnati in free agency and was one of the largest signings in the category last offseason. Robinson played 28 MLS matches for one of the top defensive units in MLS. Cincy did not finish as well as it started, though the 48 goals conceded tally was still one of the better numbers league-wide.

Robinson scored his first and only FCC goal to this point at the very outset of his career at the club, a 68th minute match-winner on a corner kick. The center back is light on attacking highlights otherwise because that obviously is not his job. He also made appearances for the USMNT throughout the year, including at the Paris Olympics, where he was one of the three overage players on the roster.

The duel-winning stats are the true highlights for the 27-year-old Arlington, Mass., native. He won just under 71% of his total duels, one of the highest numbers for any defender. That comes out to 5.76 duels per 90. In the air, he wins an even higher percentage of duels, at 73%, or 3.24 aerial duels won per 90. Robinson also has good pace for a central defender, making him a difficult player for forwards to beat. He will anchor the backline for Cincinnati in 2025 ahead of an intriguing year. MLS-record signing Kevin Denkey has high expectations up top, though that record is about to be broken. Robinson comes in at No. 44.

44) MILES ROBINSON | DEF, FCC | PER 90 STATS (PERCENTILE)

70.8% DUELS WON (97%)

73.2% AERIAL DUELS WON (96%)

5.76 DUELS WON PER 90 (90%)

3.24 DUELS WON PER 90 (90%)
