Jordi Alba was the most involved fullback in any attack league-wide. It is not just his chance creation or ability to get forward, but Alba is truly a huge part of Inter Miami's build-up play. He is constantly on the ball and that is by no means normal for a player at his position. His quality has cemented him as one of the upper tier left backs that the sport has ever seen. He played an underrated role for the Miami team that blew away the regular season and won the Supporters' Shield in 2024.

Alba set up a multitude of goals last season, starting in the second match of the game with an assist to Lionel Messi against LA Galaxy. He opened his scoring account in a rare slip-up, an early 3-2 home loss to Montreal. In a 3-3 draw with St. Louis City, he scored and assisted both of the other goals during the contest. His most spectacular match of the season was a 4-3 win over Toronto FC in Leagues Cup play, in which Alba was registered with a primary assist on all four of his team's goals. He added two more assists on Decision Day and one in the shocking playoff series loss to Atlanta United.

The 88.4 touches and 56.7 successful passes per 90 prove the abnormality of just how involved Alba is each and every match. The attack needs him to excel, he helps pick out important passes and is a calm presence on the ball. He also hit on four long balls per 90 and creates just under two chances as well. He likes to put a cross in but is also happy to combine up the pitch with clean interplay that resembles his FC Barcelona teams. Alba comes in at No. 29.
